Cheers Rob ! :salute::

I remember wandering among the Stones as a kid as it was allowed, these days the public aren't permitted !

Steve

That’s not correct, people can enter the henge.

Oh yes quite correct, I see looking at English Heritage website. Things have changed then. I see that you can pre book a limited number inner circle tour for dawn or dusk outside of normal opening hours for £47. A nice little earner !

Steve

Cheers Robin. Hopefully TG will do a few more Ancient Britons !

Steve

I see TG are having another break, this time no November releases. Always mixed feelings about that, disappointed nothing to look forward to, but on the flip side, more time to accumulate funds. For me now, with up to 6-8 weeks postal delivery at times, December releases will arrive at my door possibly in February. Still the days seem to fly by, time waits for no one. Robin.

I guess hold ups with their shipments from China doesn't help TG with their cash flow either !

Like you say Robin time seems to fly !

Keep well mate

Steve

Who made the cavalry figure mate?

Scott

Was to be a TG production figure. Think TG was going to produce several other Ancient Briton Cavalry figures as well to skirmish with their Roman Cavalry, which at the time if I remember right they were considering expanding on.
But TG decided not to proceed with them. I think TG did say why at the time. If you do a search you'll be able to find it I expect.
It might of been something to do with the exchange rate and Pounds losing quite a bit of their value against the Dollar and so changing some of TG's plans. Perhaps they still have plans for them at some future date.

Thankfully they had released the Chariot by then. Would like to see another issue of that but with different sculpts for the horses and a Boudicca figure in the Chariot !

Steve

I am not absolutely sure but I seem to remember TG fairly recently announcing Ancient German and Persian cavalry figures were in the offing. But I may have dreamed that!

Gary

I remember them saying they were going to release Persian cavalry. They said it in response to your photograph of TG Persian infantry and JJD Persian cavalry grouped together

Perhaps TG would like to comment on future releases !?

Steve

When did TG release the mounted figure? I remember seeing it in a dealer newsletter and being asked if i would be interested. I never saw or heard of this figures release.

I bought both figures from Eagle Design and they are great to deal with, fast postage, normally around 7-9 days from China to UK. I do not think they were ever released by T Gunn.

By the way the wagon they sell for the Roman/medieval period is very good.
