I just saw on his website that they were cancelled, but he is releasing a few poses in metal primed blue or gray to go plastic collections. I hope that he releases all of the poses of the union troops over time.

Hello Algonquin. I think it was the projected Union set that was cancelled, but hopefully we'll be able to get some metal castings sometime down the road.

Picked up the new Cunnygham figure this weekend in Indy, it was the the original teaser photo for his Union set, only in metal.

Yes, the Union in plastic has been cancelled. Long drawn out story, with many tears and heartbreaks involved. But at least a couple of my favorite sculpts are going to find their way into metal castings.

Hello Blake,

A full explanation can be found on my site, but in short, the costs of doing injection molded plastic are extremely high, always rising, and I just wasn't comfortable with making that big of an investment again. All six figures were fully sculpted, and after seeing the group, I just wasn't convinced that they were what I wanted. I'm going to "cherry-pick" a couple from the set that I really liked and cast them in metal, and then move onto to something new, assuming we can garner enough interest in unpainted metal castings.
