The West series was retired by the time I became a collector but I don't have the impression that it was all that popular although it is generally nicely done. It also seemed to lag on ebay for quite awhile but gauging by recent auctions, it seems to have become very popular again, at least in the retired market.

Brad, I think you are right about the West popularity. It was the last retired set I put together a few years ago and I did not have a hard time finding the various sets from dealers.
I think it is a very desireable set, very good considering it was an early K&C set.

I think with todays sculpting it would be a superb series to revisit.

A bunch of auctions just ended the other day and a French buyer bought them all. Some of the mounteds went from $66 all the way up to $150.

I just noticed that someone has just posted a group of 33 West figures for an opening bid of $1,750, with a Buy it Now of $2,500.
