"Déjeuner sur l'herbe" is the title of a painting by the French painter Manet ( breakfast on the grass)
It's also the title of my new dio using TGM paras ( and a few K&C's) Déjeuner sur l'herbe TGM style

Great stuff mate,if i didn't have these figures i would make you a offer on the whole diorama it is my favourite so far by miles.

Tremendous dio. One of the most realistic and natural I have seen. -- Al

That scene is so visceral that I began to really sympathize with the FJ standing guard with the MP-40. How sh!77y you would feel being the guard that let your buddies get blasted. Of course, in this scene it would not matter since he would be he first to go, but man, that would be the worst day possible.

{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Nuthin more needs to be said by me.

On another thread a collector bemoaned the fact that King and Country has not returned to the FJ series, and that Normandy FJ's were badly needed. I replied back that Thomas Gunn does Normandy FJ's.

I'd like to go on record to say that this dio demonstrates that the two company's figures display very well together! It would seem that the only gap with regard to Normandy FJ's is who's label is on the figure's base.

Great figures all around, Great Diorama!

You are absolutely right LTC, I use a mix of figures all the time in my dios without any problem . I am now working on a dio " Café J.Philippe épicerie" where I will use a mix of K&C, Kronprinz, and Figarti figures without any problem

That would be me, I have been hounding Andy to do Normandy Fallschirmjager with the correct colors for their uniforms for years. These Thomas Gunn figures are excellent and i bought a few. My only problem is a couple of the faces have a little too much white on them
