There was a piper Bill Millin with an old Commando set; Lord Lovat's Command Group or something like that!

I have it, and it is a very nice set!
I also believe that King and Country UK may have a spare lying around!

If you're referring to the glider assault on Pegasus Bridge, I asked once about such figures and was told that they'd be too similar to the MG range..

Quite true and that's the beauty of it. With those few pieces one can set up Merville and/or Pegasus and Horsa Bridge along with "Varsity" dios using MG figures. Just a thought.

Having Howard meeting Lovat with Millin playing the pipes would make for a nice dio, but the bridge itself would be pretty ****ed big. A Major Howard and Cpl Tappenden (Ham and bloody jam!) set would be a winner.
Really? That would be great. Guess I'll have to knock down a wall or two to make room for it.
