I believe that Figarti should release some boats scale 1/30, that could be used for the beaches of Normandy... Something long overdue in the toysoldier releases.

in that case Figarti should also release the German bunker with MG42 crew. :D

Why not?

Two or even three differtent bunkers scale 1/30 would be a great add-on for every WWII normandy collector

Since Figarti has already come out with an S-boat and v weapons, there is really no limit on thoughts for new sets, except maybe a 1/32 scale model of France:D:D.

I agree!!! I just bought a Conte LCVP, and it blends ok with K&C 1/30 scale figures, but the figures in the boat are much smaller. This would be a good seller for Figarti.

Too big.

Maybe a diorama of Omaha beach, with landing crafts, tank traps, MG42 bunkers, medics and Americanas.:D

Small summary:

we need some 1/30 landing crafts for both soldiers and vehicles!

Yes, I think they may be a tad big for my shelf in 1/30 scale :D

Well, maybe no and maybe yes.

A typical LCM would be about 3 1/2 foot by 1 foot. The Figarti German E-Boat comes to mind.

An LCP, LCR or and LCVP (large but manageable for displays or dioramas) would work very nicely.

There were several other landing craft types/classes in WWII. The LST, LSD, LCC, AKA, LKA, APA, LPA, etc. all would be much larger than any of those I posted. There are more smaller types/classes but the vast majority are varients of the posted types/classes.

I was referring to the Landing Ships (LSM) you had pictured

But I agree that the smaller Landing Crafts would be ideal in model form.

Well, Rick and the Figarti team already have dome some amazing Amtraks for the Pacific Theater, so who not a Higgins Boat or a floating tank for D-Day? I actually went and spent the $450 for one of the Honour Bound Gold Series Snorkel Shermans, so I would love to see a true floating Sherman with the Duplex Drive and the canvas skirts!

throw in a MG bunker and we all can play D-day! (except Omaha - No Sherman safely landed at that stretch of beach during the attack)

Would be great for an invasion of Italy Diorama!

I Just Boarded Lst-325 This Morning In Moline Illinois On The Mississippi River. This Bought Was Beautiful And Took Part In The Landings At Sicily, Salerno, Anzio And D-day And Is Fully Restored. It's Home Base Is In Southern Indiana On The Ohio River. Figarti Could Study This Bought Which Would Make An Awesome Model
