I see that we now have a 'Kelly's Heroes' set of figures. Though not one of my favourite war films, I like the theme of popular films and TV series.

As a 'Dad's Army' completist, I am still waiting for the notorious ARP warden 'Hodges', the verger and the Vicar.

How about 'The Wild Geese', 'Guns of Navarone', and the classic 'Where Eagles Dare'? The latter would make a superb Christmas release.

Any other films people would like to see in miniature?

DADA ARMY EVERY TIME!:salute:: Good to meet another Dads Army fan:smile2:

Where Eagles Dare is a Good idea as is Eagle Has Landed.

Eagle has landed would be good, we have the opportunity of Kurt Steiner and his men as Fallschirmjager, Kriegsmarine or Polish paratroopers!!

There is also great potential in The McKenzie Break. Home Guard, Camp Guards, Fire dept., vehicles of all sorts, barracks, and German prisoners of all branches. -- Al

Movie and TV themed figures just might open up a whole new market for K&C. Personally I find these releases doubly irresistable.

A popular TV series that may be reproduced here would be MASH ... just like Dad's Army and Kelly Heros, the cast included a host of lovable and unforgettable secondary characters. Who would not love a "Radar" or Corp Klinger {sm2}.

I love Dad's Army too. (I think I'm one of the few Americans that's even familiar with it.) If there is any personality line I would like to see, it would be Band of Brothers. Love those guys.

For a Western theme, F-Troop for those who are old enough to remember. ^&grin, Robin.

As long as we've gone off the deep end, how about Mchale's Navy? Terrific cast of characters and a PT boat. Who's better than Ens. Parker ticking off Capt. Binghamton?:wink2: -- Al

One of my absolute favorite WWII films is The Great Escape--I'd love to see figures from the film or the actual event. A Stalag Luft III diorama is a neat concept, I think, maybe in cutaway, so one can see the tunnels beneath the camp. {sm4}

Combat! Sgt. Saunders, Kirby, Little John, Caje, Doc, Billy, Lt. Hanley, and the immortal German soldier played in so many episodes by Paul Busch. -- Al

Superb idea, you could have all the allied and German characters plus guards etc, I'd buy that!^&cool

Some great ideas here, I like the 'MASH' suggestion.

But I've just thought of a possible superb 2 figure release that unites both sides of the Atlantic in their love of superb comedy with a military theme: 'Sgt Bilko and Bulldog'!!.......
