I thought that I would try to keep a running thread going to show some of my latest Trophy acquisitions. I probably have 600 to 650 Trophy Sudan, Zulu War, Egypt and Civilians in my collection so far. I haven't decided on whether to do the NWF of India, but I do have one regiment of Sikhs.

The first picture is from the Zulu War and is listed as "An Incident at Isandlhwana". The set includes the wagon, some ammo boxes, the chap inside the wagon firing his rifle, the dead Zulu on the ground, and the officer with sword fighting one of the Zulus. The other figures are from other Trophy sets. I particularly find the bugler falling backwards helpful for vignettes such as these.

Hi Jim

The AZW range started me off collecting Trophy, you have some nice figures there :salute::

You probably know that the foot of the Zulu figure you have lying on the ground will fix into a small hole in the front of the wagon seat.

Here are a couple of pictures of the two versions of the set in my collection

Hi Martyn: I did not realize that the Zulu casualty fit onto the wagon. That's cool! Thank you for the tip.

Originally, I was not going to collect the Zulu range and was only collecting the 24th Regiment figures. Then I saw a Trophy Zulu figure first hand and that got me hooked.

Also, AZW figures seem to be easier to find than those from the E&S series. NWF figures seem to be as rare as hen's teeth in the market these days.

I will photograph "The Quartermaster Says No!" Vignette tonight and post tomorrow.

I recently acquired the vignette "the Spears Are Washed" and enhanced it with other Trophy Zulus and British to depict the desperate fight inside the camp at Isandlhwana :







This set combines well with "An Incident at Isandlhwana " to create the chaos of the final moments of the battle in the tent area.i really like the action of these figures.

I just added the Strategy Table set for the AZW to my collection:







Also the Gatling Gun for the 24th Foot

I will soon have a second strategy vignette and another Lord Chelmsford figure that I'd be willing to trade

My latest acquisition, which I'm completely thrilled to have, is Trophy EQ-14 Royal Garrison Siege Gun:







The Camel Corps figures are from Red Box Miniatures.

The Boer War era steam tractor arrived today. A very handsome model it is too:



It is one favorites and I was fortunate to stumble upon it.

nothing looks better in the toy soldier world then a line of the 24th in their white helmuts. Great pics , thanks
