DAK Mountain Patrol (1 Viewer)

Hi ...you seem to be "the Man' when it comes to "things WWII in North Africa"..hence my question: have you come across a TS model of the ambulance which is shown in the movie: Ice Cold in Alex..??

Tried but failed to attach a snapshot of the said ambulance..

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's the desert Ambo that K&C made a while ago with driver and a very popular one at that.

Absolutely; and King & Country's EA027 (as mentioned) is a very nice model. I picked one up last year after discovering the connection to Ice Cold in Alex.

Here's a few images:

K&C's newer Opel Blitz Ambulance (WH004) provides a nice German variation of an ambulance that can be used for different campaigns including N. Africa.

If you're determined to find the British ambulance, I would suggest checking Ebay periodically. Good luck!

EDIT/UPDATE:

I did a little searching and here's some additional info regarding the British Ambulance by K&C.

The piece originally sold for $129. There's an Ebay listing here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/KING-COUNTR...884?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item58a358d0d4 at $175, which isn't too bad in my opinion (plus free shipping).

Thought I'd share a color shot of the DAK Greatcoats to show the great colors and detailing of these K&C figures. With all thoughts and comments on the March Dispatches (wolf whistle for the new Aussies), thought I'd share the fun one could have photographing some older pieces.
