There's a new Vallejo color out which is the best match I've seen out of the bottle for K&C DAK. It is #321 from the new Panzer Aces line. The title is Highlight British Tankcrew...but don't let that dissuade you. I have compared this color to the Iraqi Sand 819, Dark Sand 847, and a 1:1 mix of 819 & 847, & the 321 comes out on top. Please let me know your opinions if & when you try it out.

Thanks, I'm going to try it.

Blowtorch...

These paints are what I use and you are right its about as close as you can get without having to mix yourself. Best Paints for me, on the market and use them all the time

Thanks for the update. I have a tank somewhere that needs some work. That color tip will come in handy!:D

Thanks for the tip! Love the Vallejo line of paints, and enjoy doing the occasional touch up. I've found that you can get a pretty spot on match for the K&C DAK tunic using Vallejo [920] German Uniform (1-part) + [806] German Yellow (2-parts) + [951] White (1-part), with a little adjustment using those colors for highlights/shadows/etc. as needed.

Anyone ever come up with a paint matching guide for K&C stuff by chance? Don't mind mixing by sight to do color matching, but any shortcuts would be appreciated. :)
