DAK panzer and the V2 command vehicle (2 Viewers)

I agree with Nasir that the Figarti vehicles fall somewhere in between K&C and HB, although some of the recent K&C releases are closing the gap.

The vehicle parts attached to figures seem to limit their placement. That aside the vehicles really are some of the nicest around! I have two Stuart Tanks. They are really small in comparison to a Tiger but I would assume the quality is the same.

Personally I think it is the Napoleon SL that is a bot overpriced. You get 5 figures, a table and let us be honest a bit of a circus tent at almost 200 USD.
I would have been happier without the tent.

Damian: Lets say you just wanted the Napoleon figure, and bought the set as it is not available seperately. I would venture you could easily recover
more then you initial investment selling off everything else!

Some collectors might want the table and maps for another display, the
tent, or some of the other figures.

The V2 vehicle is a flat $229 which is a lot of scratch:eek:

The figures are cool as is the table. I just find it hard to get excited about the tent. I cannot see guys lining up to buy the tent by itself. Havong said that buying a few of teh complete sets and breaking them up to sell figures individually might not be such a bad idea.

Damian: You know sometimes it really isn't a bad idea. Every now and then

a set will come out with one or two figures you really like, and a couple you

just hate.....so you pass on it.

This happened to me when I saw the VN03 The Air Cav set. I loved the

Bobby D figure some of the others (always lieing on their sides) not so much.

So for $128 I passed. Years go by and everytime I see it......I have to have

that figure! I spent more time searching for it after I passed it by! I should

have just bought it, and sold the other figures.

Ok now its years later.....I have 3 of the sets on patrol at Fire Base Bien:D

I'd second that. The quality of these figues that come with the V Weapons is superb,i think in that respect they are closing the gap.I also think that whilst HB's vehicles are really good their figures are still to catch up.Can't wait to see these new sets of theirs that are coming shortly.

i'm really expecting excellent offerings from Figarti this Chicago Show.

I do not think i will be dissapointed..:D

Nasir, Are you going to be there?:)

Hi KV,

i'm trying to, but chances are slim mate.

i work in the aviation industry, and during that period, its a hectic time of the year.

My boss will jump if i applied a long leave. :(

maybe i'll fake a cold and sneak out there, quite a feat it would be as direct flight is about 8 hours! ;)

I must agree: a 5 figure set would have been fine with me minus the circus tent......which would have resulted in a better more reasonable purchase price......the tent could have been sold as an accessory for whomever wanted it.......too bad.....

If you think $229 for the command vehicle is high at this time just wait until someone buys multiples with the intent of attempting to sell them less than 2 months latter for $379 or more on e-bay.......now THAT is a lot of scratch indeed.....;)

I don't spend a lot of time worrying about what other people do. If someone

wants to buy a dozen of these at $229 a pop more power to them. Makes

no difference to me.:D
