Cool conversions. If I play my cards right, I am hoping to visit Fort Ridgley State Park on Sunday. :)

Yes, well, New Ulm isn't exactly wild these days though in it's day, certainly. They tend to field a really quality HS baseball squad though. Used to give us in Waseca a run for our money every year.

Sunday is looking like a good day for an outing at this point....:)

Hello Scott
Your figure painting is excellent.
Do you use a magnifier ?
The woman waving the rifle and bayonet is great.

Happy to report we had a lovely outing to Fort Ridgely State Park today after all. Weather was quite fine and in addition to touring the fort site and catching up on the historical facts and all, also had time for a picnic, a hike in the woods and a long wade in the creek. Working on uploading some photos but camera is not cooperating at the moment. A highly recommended excursion for anybody in the vicinity who is interested in this lesser known theater of the Civil and U.S. Dakota Wars. The small museum and interpretive center (in the only original building on the site) has a nice little collection of Civil War era uniforms, weapons, and equipment including a 12 pound howitzer, and crates full of moldy hard-tack. :p:)

And Scott, my apologies for not also complimenting you on these impressive conversions previously.
