A couple Diggers of the 7th Div. A.I.F survey the bridge at Damour Lebanon destroyed by the retreating Vichy French August 1941.

Nice one mate and now your really digging into the history books as i have never heard of this historical event.

Well done Wayne. I'm pretty sure that painting is in the old 'Active Service' book printed in the war- a forgotten part of the war.

Ps The small rubble in your pictures, where did you find it ?? ( need some for my Normandy country road ;yours seems excellent to do the job)

Its just some old gold flakes Wayne has lying around...........................{sm5}

Thanks Chaps, Guy the rubble is from a bag of Hudson and Allen 'Rubble' a very handy bag of rubble it is too.....:wink2:
