What a great campy TV show from the 60s and 70s. I vaguely recalled watching it back in the day but stumbled across the entire series on Tubi. All 1200+ episodes. Very addictive. Granted it is a kind of gothic soap opera and they milked every storyline to death, but for mindless entertainment there is no beating it.

While in college (1966-1970) Dark Shadows was a HUGE very popular TV series. My friends and I would seldom miss an episode and the TV lounge in our dormitory was always packed with a crowd viewing it. Barnabas, Angelique, Quinton, and the rest of the Collins clan at the Collinswood manor.

Given the passage of over 50 years, I was surprised that some of the actors are still around. Kathryn Leigh Scott who played "Maggie Evans" is an author and she will sign her books and some Dark Shadows material if you contact her via her website. Several of the original cast made cameos in the 2012 Johnny Depp movie. There is supposedly a new series in the works. But in the meantime I still have another 900 episodes to watch!
