While some move east, we're moving west... We are pleased to announce our latest sub range to our WWII: The Arms and Armies of the Second World War - Das Deutsche Afrika Korps!

The coloring of the German Afrika Corps has always been a favorite of ours so in discussing where to venture off to next for our WWII figure range, we decided that the German Army in Africa was something we definitely wanted to cover. We aren't going to discuss too much at this point the direction that we're taking this range, but are very pleased with how our first set, DAK001 SdKfz 232 8 Rad Schwerer Panzerspähwagen came out, so expect to see other figures and vehicles added over time.

This vehicle is now available for order on our website and will be shipping to customers in early May.

DAK001 SdKfz 232 8 Rad Schwerer Panzerspähwagen - $299.95

Wow and outstanding indeed and I would like to add very impressive to the list. But to be honest one wouldn’t have expected anything less from FL.:)

Matt, What will be the extent of development of the DAK series?.....WWII First legion has now opened a 2nd front;)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! This is unexpected although the crossover potential from a vehicle perspective is quite logical.

Looks great in those colors Matt.

This is quite a surprise, to say the least. I assume at some point, as with Stalingrad, we will see Eighth Army figures.

And just imagine that this chassis could be used with so many different variants in the African Theater....:)

Looks great, like all of your stuff. I have always thought German armored cars looked best in AK paint.

Matt,
Great choice! I was hoping you would do the North Africa campaign. So many possibilities in vehicles, uniforms, and personalities. I look forward to to this new line.
Well done!

Semper Fi!

I can see the attraction of N. Africa. And FL will do it up nicely, but would have preferred to see Italy. Something like Anzio, Mt. Cassino, and the Republic of Salo. KC and others have done N. Africa to death. That doesn't mean FL shouldn't do it, but something a little different would appeal more to me. Anyway it looks great.

Matt, seems to indicate that this will be a "sub-range" of WWII.....I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this range becomes quite popular and developed....There are many DAK fans on this forum.....Could there be a 1942 Tunsian Tiger and Panzer IV comming down the sand dunes??:)

If this is an indication of things to come, I wouldn't be surprised to see more spin-offs of Stalingrad equipment. I'm wondering if 1st Legion is going to become the '41-'43 Company...Barbarossa & Kharkov'43 included.

oh

my

Looks to be another great vehicle from F.L. and glad to see some movement towards other theatres of war, I'm sticking to my Stalingrad but always good to have other venues as well to pick and choose from...Sammy

Wow, WoW, WOW; from the freezer to the oven. I can only imagine how the 8th Army will look.:eek::eek: Of course this raises the spector of "shirtless Italians" which if done, I am sure will be well done.;)

I know that it will much later, but this is a chance for American subjects down the line. I am looking forward to seeing the releases as they come and getting some future Napoleonics sometime!:D
