DD093 "Classic Sherman" for Tunisia (1 Viewer)

When I first saw the K&C "Classic Sherman" I thought, it's almost a Tunisian Sherman but the transmission cover is wrong. Well, I just got my copy odf the new book "First Blood, 1st Armored Division in Tunisia" from Firefly books. Lo and behold, a bunch of the M4A1 wrecks photographed were early M4A1s built by Pressed Steel Car Company with all the features that DD093 has. So for those that haven't repainted them for Tunisia - go ahead. This would be an interesting project to paint up - anyone need one done (for a price)?

Interesting idea and it would make a good addition to the desert theatre. Are you actually going to do one??

I will have to see what prices do after 1JAN11. I have been using my K&C budget catching up on a couple items I want to get before the price increase. If the DD093s don't go up too badly, then Yes, I will buy the Sherman and do one. Since the winter "Wounded Sherman" is the same vehicle, one could also do a knocked out M4A1 being inspected by the Germans.

That sounds a really good idea about the wounded sherman!! I really liked that set but, things happen and I never got around to getting one

Looks like it's going up to $165, so a $16 increase. Not great, but not too bad.

I really liked the idea behind the wounded sherman and hope its not a one off and that we will see more of a similar ilk being released
