Didn't quite know what thread to put this on but slapped it on this one.
First pic is another Hinchcliffe 54mm metal I picked up at the London show. Pose OK but not really an accurate or realistic fall-rider looks somewhat stilted- reins, horses tail, canteen and other accoutrements much too static, arms, sword, kepi firmly on head-All wrong for a falling figure. Plus pretty poor paint finish with an odd looking color for a horse's mane and tail
Final finish- Horses tail more realistic, reins corrected, both arms of the trooper re-modelled with sword re-positioned, canteen and other bits more in motion for a fall, kepi flipped off with rider's hair dishevelled. Full paint job on rider and especially the horse.
Opposite side-view
Whoops!
Not sure if the rider or the horse is dead but the trooper now looks a bit more bemused than the original
