Rob

In the North East i have learnt a good phrase that goes like this ' SHY BEARNS GET NOWT' or as we would say in Pompey 'DONT ASK WONT GET'.

Ask away.

I thinks Rob will like the M10 very much it is a beauty and one of the few i take out of the warehouse for my home. Great peice.

C'mon Rob don't chicken out now! :D
I'll ask if you don't! Besides I reckon Andy knows already. He must have seen our campaign on here even though he hasn't comented on it.

Nice NE expression Tony. It can join the only other Geordie expressions I know "Howay the lads" and "You shall have a fishie on a little dishy"

Yep you are quite right, can't quit now.Sure he won't mind anyhow,he's a nice chap.Hoping to ask him in the morning as it might be more difficult at the evening do,he will probably be surrounded with people asking questions.

What do you think Easy, will we finally get our Paras?.

Rob

I think Yes. Mainly because he hasn't actually said no.

I reckon we will get good news!

Rob / Eazy,

Please post the verdict as soon as you can, as I plan to write out my Santa list on the 3rd Dec. :D

Will do Simon, although knowing how much planning goes into these ranges if we do get a positive answer it may not be with us until this time next year at the earliest. We can only hope.(but it would be soooooo good!)

For me its worth the trip to see Mike, Sue and Tony Neville, as well as Kevin (Panda1gen) and the other forum members from Great Britain, Ireland and the continent (Fred and Thierry) who I would otherwise only see in Chicago or at the Symposium.

Hi Louis

Are you coming over? Fred and Thierry too? That would be great to meet you all, Rob, Clive and everyone else from the forum - not sure I'm a treefrogger Shannon  what is that?:D

If so look forward to seeing you all. I'll be helping the HB UK stand of course, but very happy if I can meet Mike, Tony and the rest of you in the bar?

White or red carnation?

Kevin

Does anyone ever go to the one in London in March:confused: . I went this :D year, it was brilliant:D :D

I first met the Nevilles in person at the March Show in 2003 (used a romantic Valantines Day present trip to London as my excuse - actually got engaged that weekend).

Christmas in London for me was great, but it was about 5 years ago. April has the least amount of rain. I was in to UK Model Railroading back then TS were #2

It would be nice to meet you too Kevin.I always go to all the London shows as crossing the atlantic is a wee bit more expensive, and although i am very lucky in that i have a very supportive wife the U.S is really pushing it!.

Maybe i could do what Louis is planning to do and take a holiday in the U.S at the same time as a show is taking place,if only they held them at Disneyland Florida!.

Saturdays show/evening should be great, can't wait.

I would like that too Rob, see you there, Mike could perhaps be the introductory factor.

Maybe see you next year Louis.

Kevin

The Symposium is the second weekend in March. I have the contractor coming this Thursday so the three rooms upstairs will be ready for a display of 100% of my collection, so please try to make it. It just wouldn't be the same without you. Who else is going to entertain us with Monty Python references?!

Louis,

When you say, "...a display of 100% of my collection,...", do you mean that you will be displaying your entire collection, including those items which are not King and Country? While I think seeing your King and Country collection would be awesome, I think seeing everything you have collected would be even more awesome!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Pat,

It entirely demends upon how the amount of display space plays out. Should there be extra space in the display cases, I will display non-K&C stuff in them. I will certainly display my large Trophy boats, as well as my Figarti armored vehicles, and probably my Frontline Crimea stuff. In addition to toy soldiers, there will be my Gordon Highlanders Drum and Banner, about a dozen antique swords, several framed antique military prints and maps, the Green Beret Coin given to me by Ed (Halomeeps), the SOG Coin and bush Hat Chuck Harris is sending me, and (in a beautiful triangular case specially designed for Flag display) the American Flag Ed gave me which had flown over his Firebase in Afghanistan. I would be honored if you joined us.

Regards,

Louis
