Hi all. I just received my Decisive Day set and had a couple of questions for the rest of you who also purchased it. First, the map sitting on the table in my set is completely blank. I've looked at some of the photos online and can't tell if there is supposed to be something drawn on it or not. It just seems strange to have generals pointing/looking at a blank map.
Second, my Lee figure has a dark brown beard but no grey highlights. He just doesn't look right this way, looks far too young. I was wondering if the rest of you had the same issues in your sets or if I just got a bad one. I'm hoping these are just a couple of oversights in painting of the pieces I got, I can just do an exchange. If it's a general thing, then oh well.

Any responses are appreciated,
Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark,

The map on my set has lines drawn on it, but the figure of Lee also has a dark beard with a touch of light grey highlights.

Would love to see some photos of your set. I was thinking about picking this set up, but now I probably will not. I have had so many issues with Britains painting in the past on many of my ACW sets. Paint chipping off and paint running onto other areas of the figures where it does not belong. I have pretty much stopped collecting from them because of it. Although I know that no company can be perfect...tis life...
