I see a few Del Prado figures that I think might tie in well with my King & Country Crusaders. To anyone who has purchased Del Prado medieval figures, how do the Del Prado medieval figures compare with the King & Country medieval figures in quality and are they compatible in size? Thanks guys. George

I have a few in my collection and the fit in fine as filler. The painting and the quality is of course lacking compared to K&C - but for the background - they are great.

You can get away with a couple of their Mounted Knight figures as well for your dioramas. IMHO :D

They can be repainted, too, if you're inclined, some members here use Del Prado as raw material for conversions.

Prost!

I would also have the same question comparing the Frontline Medieval figures with the K&C Crusader figures. This is one thing I will be looking for at the Chicago Toy Soldier Show - how different company products compare to each other.

Mike,

Any chance you might post some photographs from the Chicago show for us crusades-obsessed forum members to see? Anything having to do with the crusades (King and Country and other manufacturers) would be greatly appreciated.

Mike,

The best place to go look at the Del Prado will be Michigan Toy Soldiers. Also, take a look at http://www.delpradousa.com/

Since Michigan is not a K & C dealer, you might want to bring a K & C Crusader with you. Also, George Guerriero carries both Del Prado and K & C figures and you can do a comparison there.

I have a couple of Del Prado WW II and they're a little bigger than K & C, if that's of any help.

I sure can do that as long as I don't forget to take my camera - will be more than happy to do it.

Thanks for the good info Jazz - I have spoken to George a number of times on the phone and have ordered several sets from him. It sounds like he would be a good source. I'll check out the MI company as well. I discovered Grenada and St. Petersburg Crusaders and Saracens yesterday on the internet. They are expensive but WOW - really top shelf! I will be looking at those lines as well.
