Has anybody here bought Del Prado. As I'm sure you all know, these are made by Andy and they're not bad. I've bought a few and also sold a few. The figures are actually a little bigger and the detailing is not bad. In some cases, not as good as K & C but in other cases, just as good. I've got a Welch Fusilier and an Airborne Jager that is quite nice. There's also a British paratrooper that looks like Major Frost that I sold. Most of these are available from the UK and the prices are pretty reasonable. Most times I'm not paying more than $14 (including shipping).

Not obsessed yet

I have about 20 of these figures all WWII. I'm telling myself just collect a few and don't go crazy trying to get them all.

Check with gK

I think Gary has most or all of the Del Prado fig's.I can't start another line.

re: DelPrado

Yes as Brian stated I have the set (100) of the Men at War. I have about 15 Napolianics, both mounted and foot.
The Men at War is an interesting set as it covers WW1 thru about the 80,s, wish it would continue although getting them all from the UK is a pain.

I believe that Andy also produced figures for Atlas and Hachette, not to mention specially commissioned sets such as those for Hong Kong jockey club and so forth. You could spend your life collecting "non-K&C" K&C products.

Yep,Ive got around 80 in lots of 10, jadger navy, afrika. UK is the market ,usually cost with postage around $12au or 9US go really well with my K+C ernie...

I'm browsing before I go to bed and saw some of these Hachette items. They look pretty well detailed. Unfortunately, it doesn't go with anything I have. What's the deal with them. Do they just sell foreign legion. Too bad they don't make any French WW 2 soldiers.

Have you seen the Atlas figures?
So far they are all WW1 French. I,ve found a person in France who is buying them as they come out and then selling them to me. Same deal as DelPrado
, they are issued with books.
Those Hatchette Foreign Legion look nice, but what a pain trying to collect something that is only available in Europe.
