What scale is Del Prado and do their figures work with another manufacturer?

Thanks

It varies from figure to figure with Del Prado. Some of their figures are a true 1/32, others are 1/30. Their Prussian cuirassier officer from the Seven Years War, for example, is 1/32. It's also a very nice sculpt. Some of their other figures are really close to 1/30, and fit in well with King & Country, Frontline, etc.

I think we've got some other threads on this subject, with images to help support the arguments. You might want to browse for those, too, and then you can decide better.

They definitely employed more than one sculptor to make their masters, and you can see differences in style across the catalog.

Prost!

King and country are improved del prado,so they mix up perfectly. Please, see below:

Thanks for all of your expertise on Prado figures. I'M scouring around for more civilians for my Old West town (Bent Forks) and this will help.

Hi Steve,

the del prado "old west" are a bit smaller than the king and countrys, and their look is slightly different as they were made by another designer....But they can mix rather well if you don't display them too close to the KC.

From seeing them both together at Paul's Shoppe (he had Plenty of K&C and everything else), they are usually on the larger K&C size. Not always. Just as as most manufacturers.
Scale, like so many things, is relative.
It's very close to what you collect. Take a risk, or not. A photo can always hide minor scale differences.
