I was thinking while there was nothing to do at my job about another K&C line and i thought if Desert Storm was done right it could be really cool. They could have a wide range of tanks from Abrams to German Leopard to Russian Tanks. I feel that the problem with the special forces line was that it was to small and not enough variety, but with Desert Storm you could have marines, spec ops, artillery, helicopters, F-117s, Saddam, Norman Schwarzkopf, i mean with a coalition of 35 nations they could really take it a long way. But if they do make the line i hope i do not see a single baby blue helmet.

Might be a little too raw as yet.I guess Andy has to consider if anyone might be offended by this range before releasing it.Also would it be as popular as the traditional ranges,i think it would not.But hey you never know!.I wonder how a figure of Saddam would sell?.

That's a really interesting proposition. I know Forces of Valor does the GW1 range- I have the Abrams and Bradley. If KC would do the modern stuff like an Abrams, Bradley, etc then I could die a happy man. I just have to think that with the decline of the Iraq and Afghanistan line, he isn't seeing the margins on modern stuff to make it profitable enough.

Yeah a warbird F16, Apache or Blackhawk. Man that would rock.

A lot of ex military guys and even those still on often remark to me that they don't have any interest in seeing anything from even the 20th Century. They are all really into the ACW, AWI or even Napoleonic ranges. The common remark I hear about new material is "It reminds me too much of work" :D

Yes thats a good point.Maybe in years/decades to come the popularity of this period may grow?.

Andy has said in the past that he's not interested in doing something like that because he thinks FOV does a good job at it.

Yes, but their ability to make product cheaper is probably the determining factor. They have great economies of scale.

to bad i really think this would be cool. maybe not popular but cool

At the time of the Gulf War in the early 1990's, Andy did U.S. Marines from the Gulf War (limited to 200 sets), a Jet Pilot, and several Gulf War Warbirds, including an F14 Tomcat, F15 Eagle, F16 Falcon, Harrier Jump Jet, etc. I loved the stuff, and bought the Marines, the Jet Pilot and an F14.

You'd get my vote too. Would love to see a new range. Even if there was no armour involved (due to the FOV market), I'd take the figure sets.

i concur wraith but wouldnt it be cool to have all of the different tanks that were in that war.
