Talked to Matt yesterday at a show here in Michigan and he indicated that something went wrong with the molds and only 70 were made. He did say that the folks at Figarti may produce another 20 vehicles but will be slightly different.

I can only hope that if they'd be slightly different, that they'd be Winter version as I totally screwed up and missed that one.

Cannot see why Figarti dealers would allow certain people to buy that many items there is no other reason than to try and end up fleecing collectors of Figarti stuff.

my point exactly

mugs game IMO. Cannot see why Figarti dealers would allow certain people to buy that many items there is no other reason than to try and end up fleecing collectors of Figarti stuff. when a edition is as low I would like to see some restraint on them so actual collectors get them not the sad sack speculators who think its fun to fleece collectors out of their money. Just common sense really when you see tigers and other stuff going for or, being asked for four times the price or more of the retail within a few weeks of its release.

FYI please don't give me the lecture on free market stuff this type of behaviour is selfish and greedy and I don't agree with it whatever the other point may be about buy what you can get and sell it at what you want. The same will happen with the desert Tiger and I hope they sit on their shelves and nobody buys them or, they make a loss

QUOTE=uksubs;516309]I see there a ebay seller in the USA who been trying to sell about ten stukas for a big profit for last couple of months and think he done the same with the first Figarti Tiger but that ebay for you
[/QUOTE]

I agree with Mitch on this point but unfortunately collectors can be easily caught up in a bidding war concerning an item they want. Just look at the final price of a 1936 Mercedes that went for over $11 million recently.

The distributors and then the retailers should be more watchful especially went there is a low production number. Multiple purchases should be monitored. They know who their customers/collectors are and the resellers.

I was going to purchase the desert tiger, as I am a DAK collector but it went so fast.

The only way to break the gauging on EBay is to not buy an exorbitantly priced model.

Insider trading should also be banned which then would allow everyone to have an equal shot at a purchase.

All do respect I throw this question to Mr. Jazzeum. Has the Tiger set sail??? Any Pre-Chicago Intell :smile2:

I got my pre-order in for a desert tiger and 2 days later they were pulled off of the dealers web site. Was able to get my Stuka for retail $289.00 and not a penny
more. It seems with the Figarti popular items if a new item gets listed for pre order and the collector lets 2 days go by without checking the sites, everything gets
pre-ordered that quickly. I hope Figarti will bump their release numbers to allow collectors more than such a brief window of opportunity to order the item.
When I ordered both my Stuka and the desert Tiger, my dealer only allowed one each per customer which is the right thing to do.

If a collector buys one Stuka from ten different dealers, he ends up with ten.

There isn't a single dealer capable of selling ten of anything Figarti to any one person, the numbers don't fit.
