Although I have been collecting some of the AK/EA sets/armour and think they are quite well done I would like to see a little more early war european armour tanks and eastern front products.....It seems that the dessert war has take center stage...... and despite its popularity I would like to see a little more balance....... IMO.....Thank you Vezzolf

I respectfully disagree - These new release are not only needed - but, fantastic ! The desert series is wonderful and very fun to collect and I am sure the sales revenues reflect that fact.

Keep Going Andy - Keep Going !!

Ron, agreed wholeheartedly.
We all have our favourite time periods and AK/EA is mine at the moment. I would love to see some early Pacific War subjects being offered. Wake, Bataan, Burma, New Guinea, etc. but think these are unlikely from K&C. Still, you never know.
Cheers

I have several pieces of the AK & EA. I display them on my top shelf in my display case as they are currently my favorites. I think they are some of the best and can't wait for more. The new Panzer IV looks great. I only wish I had started earlier so I could have the whole collection. I have never seen any of the earlier items for sale so I guess they are rare.

Keep the NA stuff coming i say, can't get enough. We just need some British tanks now.

Rob

And the Italian tanks!

DK

Once we finally get some new Brit/Commonwealth armour, I also would like to see a few more Italian subjects. I'm presently reading "The Battle for North Africa" by John Strawson. It's a bit condensed, but it's made clear in the book that the Italian troops were not quite the "Numpty's" of popular misconception.

Cheers

 YES, YES, YES, MORE NA STUFF! AND ITALIAN ARMOR, BRITISH ARMOR, AND MOst of ALL INFANTRY--AUSSIE'S-BRITISH,-SCOTTISH, -NEW ZEALANDER'S-IRISH-( DESERT RATS), and MORE ARTILLERY---SOFT SKINED Vehicles!

Italian tanks and British tanks would be cool. Maybe a tank with Australian or another Allies markings...

Yup, Oz or Kiwi markings would be a good acknowledgment of their contribution, as would Brit, S.African or Polish markings as well.
Cheers

All of the above would be cool, although (placing tin helmet on)not worried about Italian Tanks to be honest, just don't appeal much.

Hope the tin hat's on securely mate....:D:D
For me, I'd definitely like to see some Italian armour and troops. Don't see how you can have a N.African collection without them to be honest.

Cheers (respectfully)

I'd rather have some fresh US troops for N/A myself. But only after as you said H some Kiwi's,Aussies etc.I wonder if in a few years time N/A will be the biggest selling range for K&C?.

Yeah, I can see the attraction of fresh US figures for N.A. They'd probably be suitable for Sicily/Italy as well. In fact the more I get into N.A. again the more I tend to go along with you, I DO think that N.A. (or let's even call it Mediteranean Theatre) is going to be the biggest OVERALL WWII range for K&C as the old figures are retired/revamped/repainted then reissued with more up to date sculpting.
I've also been inspired by some of Randy's mini-dios and have been looking at the Vichy figures with a new light cos they can be used as Free French as well. And if you throw in some of the FoB figures which are also suitable for N.A. then we already have a good start.
I also think that converting the FJ's to N.A. would be a very simple paint conversion, although I'd rather leave K&C to do that than try it myself.

Cheers Rob

Now you've said it H!.I'd love some stuff that would be suitable for Sicily/Italy,especially Cassino etc.But hey i'm not asking for these as i am fairly new to NA stuff and i just love the stuff Andy is producing right now,so i'm one happy Bunny.

And i'm with you on the paint jobs too, there are many experts on here who i'm sure could do a great job,but not me.Taking a paint brush to any K&C products frightens me more than the first time i saw 'Halloween'!!;)

Aaaiiieeee......please don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for new stuff right now, not until I've had a chance to catch up with the items that I really want to get. Well, apart from what might appear in next months despatches that is. Didn't someone mention that new EA sets invariably appear one month after new AK sets?
All I'm saying is that new releases in this range might be versatile enough to be used in other campaigns as well. But I'll leave that for the more knowledgeable to advise us if they might be suitable or not.

Painting the FJ's trousers and helmets a tan colour ought not be too difficult. Again, I'll leave it to the experts to advise if this would be accurate enough for desert Jerry paras.

Come on Rob, where's your sense of adventure ;).

I've got a spare single from the original FJ02 set that I intend to repaint in the same colours as the AK11 and AK13 FJs, so I'll have to see how that turns out.

Your a very brave man my friend!;).I should have a go really.I have been tempted to buy another Churchill and maybe having a go at a different camo scheme?.And of course if i make a pigs ear of it i don't have to tell anyone on here i did it,it'll be my shameful secret!!!.

H,yes i think maybe AK/EA March April?.Then we got D DAY STUFF(Yippeee!!)second quarter.

Rob

Dont forget - Alex is the master painter of our merry little band !

I would like to see what he could do with a Churchill for NA

I would be scared to death to paint any of my figures.
Any word on the Storch?
