Did Del Prado ever make a flag bearer for the Irish Legion? (1 Viewer)

Hi.
Am I mistaken or did Del Prado ever make a figure of an Irish Legion flag bearer?
It was a late addition to their line before being sold. it was somewhat larger than the other figures but not 90mm.

Del Prado only made one flag bearer in the Napoleonic Foot range, which was grenadiers of the Imperial Guard.

Hachette, which is a French company selling the figure and book in a similar format has made a range of standard bearers of the French Napoleonic Army, so could what you mean.
The flags were tinplate with a decal flag, while the figures were cast pewter.

I'll see if I can find a listing ……

Found him …… in my collection



He was given to me by a local collector who had bought a few from this range, and this was spare for him after coming in a 'job lot'.

Others included Murat, a French Pioneer, Spanish, Polish Infantry, but I would say the standard wasn't as good as the first lot of Del Prado foot figures.
These are slightly bigger, and 'chunkier' and a lower standard of painting.
You may find them on Ebay, especially in Europe.

It seems it may not be Del Prado, but sold under the name Hobby and Works.

A quick search can find many figures from the Napoleonic range, and also some WW2, so try that, you may find one for sale ???

If it helps, we sold that figure in our Del Prado line under the number MNAH007 or NNS007 (3rd Irish Regt. Flagbearer).
