I just bought the Pontoon Bridge and would like to know what German vehicles fit on it!!!!!!!!

I don't have it but it's my understanding that the vehicles have to be narrow.

Why don't you post the dimensions and I'll let you know what the dimensions are of the vehicles.

I am not sure of the length, height, or depth dimensions but I know what its weight dimensions are when your wife finds it as you attempt to hide it from her. Ever hear of a little play by that fellow Bill Shakespeare entitled "The Merchant of Venice?"

Rob - if you mean the large prime mover for the 88 it doesn't fit - the old ws13 fits so presumably the new sdkfz 251 should

The narrowness of the bridge, the model being under three inches, together with the small boats used suggests it was only intended for soldiers, horses and relatively small vehicles such as the Kubelwagen etc.

As the war progressed the Germans tended to use larger bridges more suited to tracked vehicles. Therefore I would suggest this bridge is best suited to displays depicting scenes early in WWII such as the invasion of France.

When you get home, open a UPS Mail Box account near your area. You can always ship your KC stuff to that mail box (they will hold packages that wont fit in the box) and it will pass your wife's radar screen...simply pick-up and sneak it in the garage. Meanwhile, ship that pontoon bridge from the show to your office or at a friend's address. That piece is one of KC's best...I got 3 of them!

Thank you all for your advice, however i've come up with a plan.I'll just ask her to buy me the Prime mover as my prize for losing the weight!.That way i don't have to employ any covert operations!
