Toy Soldier (1/30) Diorama- “Searching for Private Ryan” Normandy. 1944

Here a recent toy soldier display. The diorama base was made by Jakob of Toy Soldiers of Scandinavia. The figures are from King and Country. These items are 1/30 or approximate 60mm scale.

The scene shows Captain Miller’s Ranger squad entering a village in Normandy in the mission to find Private Ryan. Some of the civilians from the village have decided to abandon the village in search of a safer place.

Really nice. I have a similar layout from Jakob and have used many of the same figures to populate it. I can see you are as delighted as I am to own this dio. Certainly looks terrific. Robin.

No bad at all

IMHO I would have avoided using "railway's" tree and grass, it ruins the good work done on houses, street ..
also would I avoid the low level wall in front, it hide 50% of the horizontal action at eyes level and.. eye levels is usualy the way you see things all your live when you walk street, drive your car...
But keep going, good work .
