Very well done. If I were to collect glossy figures, the Delhi Durbar would be it. Your reviewing stand looks like the real thing. It must have taken some very careful and precise work.

Thank you all for the positive feedback - the model is made from wood - cut to dimensions which can be tricky to achieve proper scale. Other items came from the fabric store and the dome is a lid from a slurppy cup. The rug and chairs were Ebay purchases. More or less adapting practical items to fit another purpose. Kind reagrds, Don

Simply amazing Don.

I would never have guessed the dome was the lid of a slurpy cup. Sometimes we just need to think outside the box and by just looking about the house it's amazing the items we find that can be recycled and pressed into service for another purpose. Great Job !!!!

I apprecaite your comments - mostly trial and error as opposed to skill and precision on this model. It is actually a prototype - I wanted to make the dais so I finally got down to work. Looking at pictures and taken one of my toy soldiers and compared scale. Basically, I assumed my soldier was the same size as the figures in the real photographs and extrapolated from there. Don
