Michael mate,
Try JG Mins (JGN21) Roman Pots --- six little old pots. I bought a set to use in my Beersheba Dio. Hope this helps.
Cheers Howard

Howard...Scott...thank you both...

these are exactly what I'm looking for...I will need a lot of them and hoped I could find them cheaper...these are about $2.00 a pot...I wouldn't mind plastic and paint them myself...

I have some of that air dry clay I may have a go at making some tomorrow as I have the day off :) I'll let you know, my patience grows thin quickly so they may not happen, stay tuned :)

Michael,

You could have a look at Monroe Perdu Designs. They do various good quality dio accessories for the 1/35 market covering Middle East sebjects including the type of thing you're looking for, plus other bits that may compliment your subject matter.

Cheers
Simon

Mike, I,d try and make a few from clay. Clay is cheap and you could make a ton of them for short money. I,ve made a few and its a bit tricky to get it to hold the shape but with practice its do-able. I stuck some small pieces of clay and put them on a nail in my drill and with a bit of water and something to shape with you can make like a micro pot making spinner. the trick is to use a chordless drill with the battery almost dead so it dosn,t spin to fast.

Good luck! It can be a bit frustrating.

I looked at every link and website you guys mentioned...I looked at all the Ebay ads...wish I could find some cheap plastic ones and paint them myself...Tim..your post conjured images of the movie "Ghost"...with Demi Moore sculpting pottery...I don't think I'm gonna try it on a 1/32 scale...any of you plastic guys got any sources?

As Simon suggested I think 1/35 kit versions are likely to be your best bet.

Michael,

Have a look at the below

http://www.monroeperdu.com/pgcart.pga?category_key=1&limitstart=10&limitmax=10

4 pots, 3 wicker crates + stone square thingy for $7. Also on the previous page are rolled mats, which look pretty good.

Simon...thanks for the specific link...I honestly surfed their entire website yesterday when you originally sent it...

the ceramic pots...they are nice...the mats too...

for the pottery I was looking for about 20 pieces...I just hate to pay $7.00 + shipping for 4 pieces of pottery...

I'm still hoping one of the plastic collectors will come up with something...

Hi Michael,

Now this may not help you at the moment but perhaps we can ask Richard if these could also be released separately. Currently they are due to be released with the new Durbar building due the end of this year.

Mike,

Just ran across these little buggers at a JoAnn Fabrics & Crafts (a craft superstore here in the Midwest). Pictured here with a 1:32 Persian for scale.

There's two different sizes of what they're calling mini wooden "candle cups," which, when painted, might work for some of your larger pottery needs. At $1.29 per bag, you could mix these somewhat clunkier pots in with more detailed ones to fill out your display. You'd have to paint them, of course, but it's still a decent deal.

On the smaller cup, you might want to drill the opening a bit larger to make the rim more realistically thin. You can see on the overhead shot how the hole is too small.

Best,
Dave

Dave...those look pretty good and the price is right...we have a JoAnns close to my house...you're right...they will have to be drilled out on the larger ones...thank you...Michael

I recognize that figure, it's a Plastic Underground Persian.
