I saw these this morning and thought they were interesting. They were made by Andres Flores, a first year masters architectural student, while he was in college. His father was selling them. Now that he's in grad school he has no time to make them. They were all hand made and seemed reasonably priced.

If you google him, he’s made some amazing things. Nicest kid too.

Nope. Julie and I were next door neighbor table mates with him in San Antonio and I’d met him previously at other shows. I’ve always wanted to purchase but never trusted the dioramas for shipping or on planes

I'm going to purchase one and hopefully it survives shipping.

I saw his work in SA as well and all of the dio's were superb. He is also a very nice, well mannered young bloke and great to talk too.

Tom

Not from Chicago, but here is some of his work from San Antonio (just to see more)

I googled him this morning and his work is incredible. I think he could give Gordon a run for his money.

Architecture's gain is our loss!

Below are pictures taken at past Texas Toy Soldier Shows...His contact information is below but might be dated.

Andres and his dad (Ruben) are great people. Andres does some really great work and it quite creative with his tricks and methods on how he makes things.
Ruben was showing me photos of a few other projects Andres did for Frank Ward's collection over the summer...wow!

Does he have anYoutube channel? Some good dio makers have channels

I purchased a diorama from Andres and received it in August. It's a farm house with a barn. A lot like the one he had in Chicago last year only mine has the barn. Words can't describe it. Andres is the nices most polite person I know. Great Kid. Ron

His father sent me photos of a small Pacific one. Very nice. I will post it in a few days.

Ruben’s father sent me photos of a small Pacific dio he made for a customer.
