Dispatches are up! (1 Viewer)

Cheers mate, I was a good boy and did lots of stuff around the house yesterday instead of today, all about strategy my friend! Those WW1 French figures look very nice with their red pantaloons, could be tempted by those.

Rob
True they are nice looking, would like to see them in the later uniform, the red was just too good a target! No new R.A.F for you?
Wayne.

Yes they suffered bad because of it didn't they. Nope no new RAF this month which is fine because I have to get my bomb disposal sets and the shot down ME109 as soon as poss, so enough to keep my credit card busy!.

Rob

Thank goodness I don't have a c/card, that would be end of me!^&grin(they're back!)
Wayne.

This Frenchie is as good as mine {sm4} Who else is ready for the ''fighting'' French?

I got interested in Pantalon Garance after seeing the uniforms in Museums in Paris and Salon-de-Provence.
As a result I have pursued few Hachette figures in ebay and also the previously released K&C figures

Anyone had photos/diorama of Pantalon Garance on display?

I'm really pleased with the new WW1 fighting French. I'll be ordering all of these and hope the range is expanded. I have the early war fighting Germans and British so this will make a nice addition vs. the (now outnumbered) Germans.... Nice to get a few more marching early war Germans too. I was hoping for some WW1 Fokker DVII's and ground crew and pilots but guess I'll have to wait for those!

Once again, some great releases and quite a few outside the box....

It looks really nice the new one doesn't it Tom, I got the original 8TH Army version and this new Mickey Mouse camo version will be joining my troops soon, straight out of ' A Bridge too far' ^&cool

For interesting items my vote goes to the Italians. A unique little group and two more leaders for my collection.

For most popular the Dingo.

Regards
Brett

I second Brett on his comments. Wasn't expecting anything Italian on this dispatches... and liked it! The Dingo's were already on last month's, and both are must haves. Now let's see how long we'll wait untill we see the new Russians and the FW 190 dora, those are my first semester major expectations!

I'm very much in on the new fighting French with that fantastic early war uniform. Just to add to the discussion about the visibility of the red pants, the French infantry were also highly visible because of the bright metal of their mess tins which were carried on top of their packs. These proved to be perfect reflecting surfaces for the sun, thus exposing troop positions. The bayonets also did their part for visibility. The armies of all the engaged nations had some brutal and expensive lessons to be learned in the early months. Hoping for a battery of 75mm's to support the French offensive.:wink2:^&grin -- Al

Al, I thought you'd like these and was starting to worry about your absence!^&grin

I'm liking the new Alamo. I think that defender would be a great Spanish Partisan. Those Mexicans are very nice, though not my thing, as are the French.

Hi Rob. Delay in response due to banging head on wall in effort to create more room and to stimulate some creative financing ideas. I'm doomed.:wink2:^&grin -- Al
