Dispatches are up! (1 Viewer)

The really good news is the Lighthorse being available early Nov. Previous years they were just before
Christmas.

Good mixture of releases here and I like the NE camel guys.

Thanks Rob.

That Bulge stuff really catches my eye (surprise!). The M4A3E8 is about the nicest K&C Sherman yet. Looks really promising. The only thing missing is lots of stowage - by that stage of the war US tanks tended to carry everything but the kitchen sink. For those of us that add after market stowage, the M4A3s tended to carry the extra stuff far aft, leaving the engine cooling grills mostly uncovered. My main choice for now is the snow camoflaged tank or the later arriving "de-iced" version. US tanks were only whitewashed/white painted during Jan-Feb of 1945, so the basic OD color is more common, sometimes with back overspray.

The new Bulge GIs look good as well. I have been on a pause from K&C (because of economics) but these are on the new want list.

Funny group of Germans there- all the troopers are walking or slowly slogging along and the Officer is "let's go fellas". You can read the body language of the troopers saying "NEIN!!" {sm4} Must be some kind of awful up around the corner.

I like very much these new germans: nice faces, great poses,great helmets, nice weathering on them, they are very useful for any diorama..:)

Thanks for posting Rob!! ....already got my order in for the Easy, Wow.. KC really went the whole way on this one. Also ordered the G.I"s to give the Easy some infantry support!!. Plus i reckon i will in the not too distant future be adding the early jackbooted Germans to my collection!!.

Steve

I hope Andy does a few firing poses for the early war grey Germans. Now.......off to work to earn some money
To buy all of these goodies. {sm3}

Thanks Rob. {bravo}}

The winter Tiger will be just the job for a display i'm putting together. Like the early war Germans too. Thanks again for posting Rob.

I don't think I'm going to be able to resist some of those Lighthorsemen. Superb!

I do not collect the lighthorsemen, but AL040 “Goodbye Old Girl” is spectacular.

Rob,
Totally remiss of me not to thank you mate, I got distracted with the light horse figures....:redface2::wink2:
Wayne.

This first figure looks a bit like James Arnes from the Battleground movie, and gun smoke. I like him.

That is a very nice figure. Could he be Matt Dillon's great grandson? Still toting a gun, but this time a rifle.

The oddest feature for late war would be the turret stowage bin, but when it comes to the sad sack German army, nothing is impossible. Other feathers like drum cupola, smoke dischargers, saucer wheels, are OK. I've seen pics of GD Tiger I's in East Prussia '45 with those features.

The Tiger ain't such a great early Tiger either because Tiger 132 of the early 503 was really a PzIIIN {sm4} Whoopsy!

Hey, I'm going to put a Lenningrad Tiger in Stalingrad. It's great to be the Fuehrer.

I agree, I think all these Bulge figures are really well done and look like they are feeling the cold, I'm in for all these guys.
