Hello all,

Dispatches now out on K&C website! Feel oddly privileged to be the first to break the news;). See what you think...

Molloy.

I definitely like that dancing girl, that's a must, hee-hee :D

The new Sand Pebbles range looks very nice but its not really in my area of interest. Also a good chance for any of you who missed out on the excellant White armd car to get one of those-superb vehicle.I got to get me the Bulge tractor/Enemy in sight before they go.I see the Russian figures took a hit this month too, maybe there will be a rush to pick these up now?.

Our French cousins should be happy with these releases...the WW2 retirements suited me ..no emergency purchases:) Can't complain about boring poses in the Egyptian range:D:D:D

:D

Just got my order in with Mike at K&C UK.He's sending me the set 'Enemy in Sight' and i'm picking the Tractor up in London.Superb service from Mike and Tony as usual.I don't think these two sets will be around long by the sound of it.Funny,i'd wanted 'enemy in sight' since i first saw it and put it off until the day it was retired, shows you how much other K&C stuff is on my hit list!:)

I specifically stayed up late for this one (now 11pm in Oz) but surprised by how many retirements there were. The shock to me is the 6 Black Watch as they are far more popular than the other Napoleonic Allies. Problem is they are at old US$ prices od US$24 when the recent French are US$32.
Personally I would not mind if additional production runs of popular items like the Black Watch were priced at current prices although depending upon dealers stock in hand the pricing might get out of sync. Hard to replace the Black Watch.
Have not seen Sand Pebbles for a while but remember the "death of a thousand cuts" scene. Would make a gory vignette.
Time for bed,
Regards
Brett

Often sets are retired to make way for new stuff or just to make room.I wonder if Andy has plans to fill the space made by the retiring Russians?;):)

 I didnt see the retired list at first, there retiring that Flak 18 thats still pretty much new. Im glad I got a High speed Tractor awhile ago, I will have to order that Enemy in sight set. Russian well I dont have the Prisoner set and Traffic controller figure but I dont think they will sell out that fast. Let see Napoleonics I have all those so im pretty much set.

Lucky you

Shame to see the Black Watch figures finally starting to be retired in bulk - although I suppose it's rather inevitable as they have been knocking around for quite some time. Mind you, as more than one poster has noted, the converse of that is that it does free production space for more Napoleonic releases.

Only just received my first batch of four Black Watch figures from Toysoldiers Paris on Friday, this will definitely be a spur to completing the rest of the range as soon as possible!

On that topic actually; I know these figures have been around for quite some time prior to my entry into the hobby - I have the Black Watch officer with Union flag pencilled in for my next order, but does anybody know if there was previously a (now presumably retired) Regimental Colour bearer to go with him? Can't seem to find any reference to it online.

Cheers all,

Molloy.

The German paras look good but the brand new releases look a bit boring for my taste.

Napoleonics and WWII are my thing and FF does not do it for me

I give the hell up!! No Italians or interesting AFV's,,. for now on, i only collect the German parade figures.. French armour?? Really??

I am curious, of the December releases who will have them as a priority buy?

I will get some of the new Navy figures. I think you could do alot with the shore patrol figures. No interest in the rest.
