Dispatches is up! (1 Viewer)

I was thinking of gettting the AK MKIII,but I think I'll now get the Western front version instead,it can try and hold back the hoards of Brits,Canucks and Americans streaming ashore in my Normandy.

Rob

I did get the AK Panzer III to go with the older version, but had I known there was going to be a Normandy version, I would have gotten that one instead. :(

Well, I gotta say, GREAT RELEASES! The Mk.III is a must buy, as it is my favorite tank after the Tiger. Now I can build a real wedge. The Cossacks are a real stroke of out-side-the-box thinking. No Eastern front? He got us. And my absolute favorite, the early war 1914 French troops. These are fantastic looking with all the color of the period. Also really like the "Farewell" series to go with the WW1 troops. Nice touch, that. Thanks, Andy. A really nice group of releases. -- lancer

Some really neat releases as always...but not much for my collection, which is fine since there is so much to collect from last year!!! and no retirements for me...Sammy

I feel the same way but that's O.K. There lots of things still on my buy list and retired items to hunt for so a little breather is welcomed. Once again a collectors club figure ( Cossack ) spawns a new set of releases and its interesting that Andy is looking east again. Even the Pz.III can be used on both fronts. That piece is definitely the standout release this month for me however I must admit I was hoping for a grey version. Perhaps now the way is paved for a similar Pz. IV release which could be used on the east or west front.
Those WWI French are colourful and I'm sure you WWI collectors are happy today. As well all you LAH collectors must be thrilled to have Nazi lounge chairs! Myself I'm holding out for the Nazi Weber Grill and Nazi Margarita Glasses :p............haven't we gone and explored far enough for this series.......honestly.

Hey Rod,that is a very nice set isn't it.I hope you get them for your collection at some point and I look forward to the photos, knowing your work I'm sure they will be superb.

Rob

Cheers amigo, thanks.

I have lots of thing to considerer (dioramas) before I jump in another dio, but it will give me time to research for the next Wild East dio...

I already have the SS Cossack Special collector club figurine....

What?! I'd buy Nazi margarita glasses!!!

Interesting releases, I commend K&C's creativity and diversity.

Still I am surprised that a month would go by without any Napoleonics, Crusaders, ACW and AWI sets. I assumed these were staples along with WWII.

Maybe the pent up demand leads to more sales when they are released.

Not technically on forthcoming items but The Real West, mentioned at the top of the dispatches, looks like it will be a very good series. I have a couple of those figures and am thinking of adding to them.

Actually (and I'll be happy to be proved wrong here)have we ever had Arnhem so early in the year?.Andy did say it would be first part of the year but that could just as easily mean March/April.They have been released in September before now and if memory serves this is just the third release of the series. We just have to have patience save our pennies and enjoy all the other stuff between now and when they are released.Rest assured Red Beret fans, they are coming:cool::cool:

They do look great, don't they?

I am very glad to finally see the WWI French coming up, just love those uniforms and poses. They are on my wish list...;). Also the WWI good-bye sets do look lovely. And the Cossacks, ready to join the Collector's Club one, funny that the Collector's Club figures lately look like always getting some company, are they also a way to test the waters?
In a word, great quality all round:p!

All of the WW1 stuff looks incredible, especially the farewell scenes, I really love sets that tell a story. The three marching poilus and the Frenchman kissing his baby goodbye are definate must haves for me. I'm sad to see the Scots going, I do have some of them already but I should probably pick some more up so I dont regret it later. In the end it's probably a good sign though, Andy has to make room for more WW1!!!!

The new WW I stuff looks good. I also like the new Bergdorf additions. Most of all, the Panzer III looks fantastic, the weathering on it looks phenomenal.

I'm pleased. I expect the Collector's Club Cossack will vaporize now.

PzIII is nice too. If i get that, I will probably get the AK PzIII to repaint grey & make a transitional unit.
