I like that "antenna" on your "telly". Does it pick up Country Western stations and Rupert Murdock? :D;):D

Hi Guys,

looks like we have quite a variety of rooms for our collections and workshops.

I display my troops in cabinets in a room in the house, and thats where I also store my military reference books and such. I have 3 x IKEA BILLY bookcases with glass doors and shelves and they have interior lighting for display the troops in dim light. Also in the room are my wife's teaching books so its much like a 'den', as you call it in the USA.

The workshop is out in the back shed..... I have my old drafting table set up under the window, have excellent lighting and loads of space to leave paint and brushes out all the time, and space to store all the castings that need time and a 'lick of paint', before coming into the house. Thats where I store boxes from the figures, and keep all my packaging for when I send finished painting projects back to their new owners. Again I have to share the space with my wife, but she leaves out her sewing machine, half finished quits, pottery and such, so its a real craft room.

Other luxuries in the room is a sink, running water, kettle, and a well stocked fridge, just in case I get thirsty :)

I renovated the shed space into a studio and when that was completed, thats when I had time and the inclination to get back into this hobby..... and its wonderful to be able to drop into there any time, pick up a brish and do some painting and NOT have to clean it all up :)

How is that ?

regards,

John
