A few days ago I received our yearly insurance policy ...my wife and were talking and she asked how much I had added to my King and Country collection......at first I was afraid to admit how much I did add.... over the last year......so I told her I will have to check my receipts....I WILL GET BACK TO YOU!!!!!!!!!......any ways ........i was wondering if anyone else has their collection under house insurance or has it separate.....nothing to personal.....thanks

This has discussed before and if you do a search you should be able to find it.

This has already been discussed a couple of times on the forum, quite recently I believe. I think it is under the general discussion topic as it is not just related to K&C.

I reviewed the earlier thread discussing collectibles insurance. A homeowner's policy at least in Texas requires a schedule and the insurance company wants an appraisal and an extra premium. I found a company advertised in OTS several years ago. It doesn't require an appraisal or inventory. However, if you claim a loss you have to prove value and information(ie. photos). They paid off on several claims when the hurricanes hit Florida several years ago. It is replacement cost insurance. For anyone interested, it is Collectibles Insurance Services, LLC, 11350 McCormick Road, Suite 700, Hunt Valley, MD 21031. 888 837 9537. www.collectinsure.com or info@insurecollectibles.com
