Despite recent tragic events including the Massacre at Straight Knives and the Fire at Hotel Maya, progress on the rail between the two towns continued with a short stop in Rusty Spoons. Getting the "tail end of the deal" (so to speak), Big Spooner was successful in naming the caboose. The new rail would bring a number of visitors to Rusty Spoons including prominent gamblers and traveling musicians.

No doubt about it, the iron horse opens up the West. Rusty Spoons is on its way to become a economic success and a sort after destination. Robin .
