does this means there will no WW2 in October despatches? (1 Viewer)

A BRIEF pause would help the wallet, but I, too, really enjoy a nice winter's day with a new Battle of the Bulge US item! The BoB series is delightful and very well executed - Andy's art background shows here.

Despite the negative waves from others - there's still a lot of Shermans that haven't been done yet!
- M4A3 76mm from the 761st Tank Battalion (Colored)
- M4A3 75mm wet stowage - gun tank (perhaps from Team Cherry or other Team units that slowed the Germans until the 101st could get to Bastogne and dig in)
- M4A3 75mm Wet Stowage - Calliope rocket launcher
- M4 or M4A3 - dozer blade kit
- M4 - "plane jane" garden-variety M4 gun tank. Perhaps marked as US 7th Armored Division at St. Vith
- M4A3E2 "Jumbo" - the heavily armored version of the Sherman, 1st tank from 4th Armored in Bastogne was one, also used by several other units in the Ardennes.
- M4A3E8 the first ones in 3rd Army had just been received by 4th Armored Division for the attach to relieve Bastogne
- M32 tank recovery vehicle (M4, M4A1 or M4A3 chassis)
- M4A3 "winter version" - similar to DD45 but with Andy's deft touch of looking cold or camouflaged, maybe with the addition of an ammo trailer that often shows up in photos of these.
- M7 "Priest" SP 105 howitzer (not quite a Sherman, but close)
- British Sherman 1C "Firefly" of the 29th Armoured Brigade guarding the Meuse crossings.

See there's lots of possible Shermans just crying out for the K&C "touch"! That's just the winter ones, the Normandy list continues...

Happy collecting,

Gary B
