Does your spouse know how much you spend on King and Country. This is my little dirty o' secret I have not shared with my wife as of yet. I was hesitent to jump into K&C initially because of the pricey pieces but many, many sets later I've grown accustomed and its not a big deal as long as I pace myself. I think though my wife would freak out if she knew how much the hobby actually cost. O' the guilt.

When I first started collecting I hid the cost, but when I decided to go full guns I sold my baseball & hockey card collection and when she saw what I got for that, I added a sun room to the house with part of the money, I let it all out in the open.
It doesn,t hurt for example to show her my winter kubelwagon and tell her "You know I paid $65 for that a few years ago and it just sold on ebay for $1025".
Besides if she don,t like it she can move out!!

As much money as I have invested in K&C and at my age, I would seriously have to consider what is worth keeping my wife or my K&C collection.
My collection only gets more valuable while my wife, well, only gets older.

Well boys I dont have Badolato money to bribe my wife! So I had to start another hobby to support this hobby. All the proceeds from any and all dioramas that I sell is turned around and dumped back into the KC Figures. It's a pretty good deal....she never sees funds drained from the checking account or listed on the credit card and I get two hobbies for the price of one! With all this great stuff coming our way however, I am either getting job #2, raising prices on dioramas or cry! Help!

I use money from selling off my old hobby stuff to buy K&C pieces, sadly I am almost out of stuff to sell so I must dip into the tracable money

I have a joint savings account with my wife, but I have always insisted on keeping my checking account separate. Thus, there is no traceable money. Even so, she's not blind, and I also like to point out the ebay value of some of my older pieces, so she knows when I buy a warbird that I am making a fairly large expendature, hence: jewelry. The gift that keeps on giving (or is that Lingerie?).

My wife doesn't want me to sell, because she knows how happy the stuff makes me (plus, I think she likes having an excuse to get me to buy her that jewelry . . . after all, diamonds are a girls best friend).
