Giles Brown no longer owns the business. He sold to a partnership - and it is Peter James who is now mostly there at the old premises - and is still actively casting and running the business. The new partners have slightly changed the title from Dorset Soldiers - to - Dorset Model Soldier Company.

There was supposed to be a link for anybody using the old web address - but I have found it doesn't work either.

The new owners are nice guys - but have never been involved in the Toy Soldier business before - and aren't there all of the time either - so it isn't as easy ordering as before. They lost a recent e-mail order from me - but I kept sending until Peter eventually responded.

Giles himself is now semi-retired, but still keeps his hand in at his old shop in Dorset ( he has a Flat above where he lives), and now does painting and repairs and restoration work on old TS etcetera, for a few days a week ( or he tells me - when it's raining outside^&grin).
