Can any of the Australians here identify the Medal Ribbons worn by the Chief Supt Lawson character on the "Doctor Blake" TV series? He must have had quite an active war eh.
Good picks.
When I was a kid watching PBS's "Mystery", introduced by Vincent Price and later Diana Rigg, I loved Sherlock & studied it enough to basically understand it. Then I got into Poirot with Suchet. Miss Marple was too long for me in at 11, but I could tell it might be great.
Joan Hickson played the perfect Miss Marple.
So many good mysteries now, I'll stick with nostalgic favs.
I have seen almost every mystery the BBC & Hollywood ever produced (plus some Columbos and Italian & other mysteries) and can have a chat about any of them.
I like the ambiance as much as the puzzle of the mystery, otherwise just watch cop shows. Lots of English Manors, please.
T.S. point: K&C's Poirot has many places to visit...
