The new Dunkirk diorama on King and Country’s web sight is just great.

Boy I am hearing the sirens calling. Pick up some Green Devils you have always liked them. Then pick just a couple of Fields of Battle Tommie’s to mix in with you 8th Army men. You can do Crete and if you just pick up a few more Tommie’s you can do Dunkirk too. You need more toys soldiers.

Well a tip of my hat to King and Country for doing such a great job.

That was a great display - really makes you want to go out and buy FoB in the dozens !!

I am very impressed with the BOAT ! Did Gordon make that? and that DOCK area is a real keeper.

Once again - great dioramas from the industry leader !! :D

Looks to me like the usual mad scramble to get on the Star Ferry from Kowloon to Central. :D Only kidding. It is indeed a magnificent looking dio.

What are you guys talking about? Where's the Dunkirk diorama? Is it in another thread (or taken off the thread)? Did I miss something?

Does anyone know where on the web those fishing boats may be purchased?

The background certainly does and the way the boat relates to the pier seems unrealistic in the photo. I had not noticed it until you mentioned it.

Looks like photos of the K-C products photoshopped on a harbor scene drawing.

The piers on the front side are what caught my eye as computer generated, still just fantastic!!!

Wow man that diorama is awesome. Good to see Operation Dynamo getting some love. Hope they put the boat and the dock out for production but Im thinking thats not going to happen. Does look sweet though.

I have a feeling the boat was commercially purchased and then perhaps customized. The dock, I don't know.

Very nice, however, and a superb range.

Hi guys,

I saw that you had already started discussing the newest diorama posted on www.kingandcountry.com and I wanted to give you all some background on it. This is K&C’s first attempt at a diorama which uses a combination of real figures and a little computer generated graphics. We are always striving to take our collectors ‘back to another place and another time’ and we hope this new direction will help do just that. While we know there is plenty of room for improvement, we are very pleased that this project has met with such a positive response. As we continue to hone our creative skills, these dioramas will be displayed on K&C’s website along with other great stuff coming out of Gordon’s workshop. You should see what he’s building now for the Chicago Show in September... I think it’s some of his best work yet!

Anyway, your feedback and comments are always appreciated. Thank you for your interest and happy collecting!

Fantastic range and a great looking dio, well done.
