Durbar Dilemma (2 Viewers)

AH the goat I did get a little misty when they finally trashed those pieces of crap!

Well, just pulled the trigger last night. I saw that TF has these buildings on blowout so figured it was worth the chance. Will post pictures the weekend after they arrive.

I received one of each for Christmas. They are very nice Chris and for the price they are now you will not be disappointed.

Will look for your photo's Chris to get idea's, I purchased them last year, but have never done a diorama. Cannot lose on the price you paid. Cheers, Robin.

Alright fellas, they came in last night, here are some rough pics. Will take more time over the weekend to get them crisper:

Im pleased, quite pleased. Will touch things up. Wanna grab some of BAR's smoke and maybe some of Barzso buildings (my dad is painting one of mine) and some of the KC buildings. Wanna throw some telephone poles in there too. Otherwise, I am pretty satisfied I have a pretty unique display going on here. Wildly historically innaccurate but fun nonetheless. {sm4}

Good to see Chris, no competition from me on this one as I have nothing beyond WW11, intend to use mine with the SOTE series. Watch the struts on the awnings of the 2 buildings, best to leave them attached once assembled as easy to snap if too much force used in lining them into the tiny holes provided. Glad you like them and I am the worst one for taking liberties on historical mis matches, but like you are get a buzz out of mixing it up. Cheers, Robin.

Well Id say you hit it out of the park! The match up is pretty good other than the different shades of paint. But in an urban setting that sort of thing isnt too uncommon. Heck I could take a photo of my block here in Heidelberg and you will see the difference in the paint on each of the houses and each section of the various row houses as well so I wouldnt worry too much. Looks like a great beginning for a very cool display

Thanks for the kind words fellas. They are really high quality pieces. VillageHorse- I got your advice a day too late bud as you are quite right, those ends were a bit tricky. Dont plan on taking them down anytime soon. I think they will look great for your SOTE display.

My statement on historical accuracy- this dio has the Stryker in it, which wasnt in country till 2005. We weren't assaulting T62 positions in 2005 {sm4}{sm4}

The other neat thing is all the little accessories. Some pieces I am going to push over to my Romans and place in their fort.

Great pieces all around. Cant wait to snap more pics this weekend.
