Thanks for sharing Randy, i never really cared for this figure before as the photo in the catalogue made his legs look odd but from the angle you have taken this photo he looks a lot more natural, might pick one up.

Cheers Craig

Randy,
I may have asked this before. Have you any plans to publish/post all your photos on a website? Maybe for the WBritain site or at least linked to it. Seems to me that the way you show them would be a selling point for the figures.

Any idea how many you have done to date?

Somehow I have lost track of how many pictures I have posted. Thank you for your compliments. 12 of my John Jenkins photos make up John's calendar for 2010. Some of my WB photos are here:

How about a Britains calendar! Has anyone suggested this? It could be offered through the Collectors Club? Could be 2 versions - matte and gloss. For the gloss one, it could be a combination of some of your photos as well as some behind the scenes views of figures in the various stages of production. The first month could be a history of Britains 1893-1966, the second 1966-2005, when First Gear took over. Later months could be a combination of your photos plus others you do as well as behind-the-scenes looks at production, from concept to finished figure. Instead of doing a one-off, the calendar could be annual, showcasing products from the past year, and maybe some expected ones or pre-production ones. The main point is to tie in the history of the Battlelines that you have done, with appropriate photos of figures, and some paintings, drawings.

What does everyone think?

These articles are great! Will take me some time to go through them. Congratulations to Treefrog for seeing the value of this. Why though are they, were they, not posted on the Britains site?

Web costs for WB were too high so Shannon kindly allowed us to post them here on TF.
