Is this the only set of the Spanish American War?

Tommy,
I believe it is the only set from the Sp/Am War. What a great set! I wish I had one:(. The resin wall is the same one used with the Indian Artillery in the Boxer Rebellion line.

Hi Tommy

John is quite right it is the only one and was part of the "American Campaigns 1835- 1898" series.

Very nice set Tommy

Cheers

Martyn:)

Thank you, All for sharing your unique Trophy sets with us. It is amazing the wide selection of sets that Len made.

I enjoy seeing them.

Very true Brian, the only problem with the "American Campaigns 1835- 1898" series is it was very shortlived, I can only find evidence of 3 sets being released. If anyone has any more info I would love to here it.

Cheers

Hi Martyn,

The first two sets in the series: U.S.1 American Artillery Battery, Mexican-American War 1846/48 and U.S.2 The Texas War of Independence 1835/36 "Come and Get It Gun" were special sets commissioned by Greg Hahn of Stone Castle Imports in Kentucky. They were only available through him. The third set was U.S. 3 The Spanish American War 1898 Dynamite Gun. Greg had all three of these sets for sale in the mid-1990s. Whether U.S.3 was a special commission or not, I do not know.

Hi Mike

Thank you for the additional info, I managed to find U.S.1 American Artillery Battery, Mexican-American War 1846/48 at the London Show last year, a great addition to my BB set

(The picture shows one gun from U.S.1 and one from the BB set)

I hope to collect U.S.2 The Texas War of Independence 1835/36 "Come and Get It Gun" at the December Show

Cheers

That explains a lot. I'd seen the "Come and Get It Gun" in Stone Castle's catalog, but didn't see any other Texas War sets, so I stuck to the Boxer Rebellion and Zulu War lines.

As Trophy did not expand on this line, I used the Dynamite Gun with K&C's Roughriders series
