Eagle Designs Grey Panzer II on ebay again (1 Viewer)

The EAgle Designs Panzer II was one of the first 1/30 scale tanks I ever bought, initially intending it to fill out my collection of 1/32 armor. It quickly became apparent that the ED Panzer II was too large to work with 1/32, so I got some 1/30 tanker figures and soldiers to go with it and my collection of high-end 1/30 scale soldiers, armor, and aircraft exponentially multiplied from there... But the ED Panzer II is still a great little model.

Here’s a couple quick pics of mine with one of the Eagle Designs/Country Honor German tanker figures in the hatch... The figure is the perfect fit 😃

Actually I use my Eagle Designs tanks to repaint them in order to get a complete collection of DAK AFVs. Some painted in the early ral 8000/7008 and others in latter 8020/7027. One of my future ideas is to get a decent Tunisian Tiger in 1/30.

The “new” one is actually an older one. I believe the original ED was and Ausf F and this is the earlier variety. You can still use it for Russia but would pair very well with the JJD Panzer Is in Poland or France.

Your quite right. I just had a look on Eagle Designs website and compared the two. The main difference being the one being offered now doesn't have the commanders cupola, just hatches.

On the subject of ED. Does anyone have an ED Panzer IV and K&C one that can compare size please ? Photos would be great.

Can you post a few pics of them converted to DAK ? Would love to see it/them.

Steve if you need a figure in front of it let me know. The Ed is a little smaller in the length but I don't think it's extreme.

Thank you Chuck.:salute::

The photos you took are just what I was hoping for, giving me a good idea of comparison.
I have the K&C Mk IV, and yes as long as no right next together, they'd work ok.

I just looked up the new Eagle Designs Panzer II on eBay and it’s definitely the early A-C variant without the commander’s cupola. That will definitely got well with the early war tanks like the JJD Panzer I and the ED Panzer IVD 😎

I just received the new Eagle Designs Panzer IIC yesterday from China. It is definitely an improvement on their earlier Panzer II, save they need to darken the tracks a little, as well as the grey paint base coat... Still, it’s nice to have a proper Blitzkrieg Era vehicle and the JJD early war Panzer crew work well with the tank. Here’s a few pics for those interested:

The ED Panzer IIC looks really nice in your photos. I think the JJD tank commander looks great too.
Thanks for the photos and congrats on the new acquisitions- Joe

Agreed, they go very well together...nice to have such options

I will try to weather my ED Panzer II in order to try to get close to this example

Yep, That's a great example all right-makes me want to weather mine up like that too.
