Greetings, Does anyone have any info to this Berlin 38' Dio piece. Is it made by K&C ?

I don't believe it is K&C. I have both of the early K&C original Berlin backdrops, and they don't look anything like yours. I will try to dig them out and take photos.

Not ever seen this on the K&C archives, but an interesting piece all the same. Robin.

Hi Louis, Yes this is some kind of knock off , not K&C made. Thanks for the reply !

Robin, I just verified this is a Resin item made for 1/30 scale use. Not K&C
I think it's a toy soldier display stand made of resin ( displays 9 toy soldiers ) from LASSET

Guy, I think you are 100% correct. Was thinking of buying this but.........nah

It seems much more crafted and well finished than king and country's elements for dioramas.

Poppo,

I would disagree. I passed on this item yesterday. I have many K&C Diorama items....buildings, bunkers, walls, etc and am quite pleased with them all ! :salute::

Hi Guys,

Thank for posting the original photo of the Nazi Display Stand.
While I agree it’s an interesting little piece ... It’s definitely not K&C produced.
I have however, to disagree with “Mr. Poppo’s” very broad assertion that it is “much more crafted and well finished than king and country’s (sic) elements for dioramas.”
Here are just a few examples of our “elements for dioramas” that Poppo appears so easily to dismiss ...

Best wishes and ... happy collecting!
Andy

I absolutely must agree, I own a few K&C elements for dioramas and they are excellent. No comparison whatsoever with the photo in question

This is what Wayne may have been thinking about and to which Louis may have been referring.

The backdrop was issued in connection with the Axis Leaders Set in 1996. The backdrop is not easy to find and is prized by collectors.

Definitively this is a JG Miniatures German Dio - JGM 41 - Ceremonial Podium with a JGM 42 Nazi Eagle on it.
