Hi all anyone else want to see future releases of vehicles with multiple figures like in the past dynamic poses
Winter Tiger WS70
AK039 SL - Desert Tiger Tank Tunisia

they were value for money then and more captivating, I do mean a new release like these not a current tank and some figures thrown in and calling it special bonus set but specific figures designed to go with that vehicle when released.

all the best
Trevor

Hi Trevor,
Here's the thing...Of course we would love to design and produce vehicles with multiple figures and we could do it BUT...And it's a very big BUT...You and many others would not like the PRICE.
Back in the day, production costs and material costs were a fraction of what they are today.

At the same time the entire world has had to deal with a pandemic that has cost millions of people to lose their livelihoods and has decimated small and medium businesses everywhere. All of us have had to 'draw our horns in' just to survive and keep our heads above water.

And so we have to produce what we think the market wants and importantly what collectors can afford at this point in time and in the forseeable future. And so we have to break down larger sets into a number of smaller ones so perhaps most interested collectors can purchase items at their own speed and what they can afford at any given time.

At least that's how I see it.
Best wishes,
Andy.

Thanks Andy, agree price is the issue, for me releasing tanks etc and seperate figures allow people to buy the figures they want for the tanks, when we can afford too, we do not have to buy them all.

Also on pricing a lot of people think this is a hobby for the maufacturer as it is for us collectors. They fail to see it is a business and businesses have to make money to survive. Prices have gone up significantly over the 2 decades i have been collecting, but so have choice and quality, as well as accuracy.

I would rather be able to buy fewer toy soldiers than I used too due to finances than not be able to buy any at all as the company has gone out of business as it did not make profits.

Yep, I can understand the need to keep the price down to generate custom.

Best to break up the larger sets.

if the ‘Rescue Of Mussolini’ had been separate figures, no doubt I’d have the set by now!

I remember K&C came in for a bit of 'stick' when they started selling more single figures than sets of 3s or 4s many moons ago. How things have changed.

Personally I'd seriously struggle to remain collecting TS if I couldn't buy 'singles', plus for me it gives way more options and choice to mix and match.

In saying that I have fond memories of being able to buy sets of 4x figures for $89us around 15yrs or 20yrs ago.....but sadly those days are long gone.

Right now I'm just happy most TS manufactures have managed to navigate and survive these troubled times. :salute::

I'm also for the single figure policy...but lately Andy helped us a lot with the "End of the Run" offers...there are yet a lot of figure i'd like to buy...and some SGS set that i eyed ...

I totally agree with Andy, but I'll keep asking for skinny Goering to complete the Adolf-Kaiser set that was released.

Everybody that bought this set, would agree that they can use this figurine to compleet the picture.

:)
