I just picked this up from Matt Murphy. I had thought that Tradition was out of business, but apparently I was mistaken. Matt told me that this early War armored car with a Belgian crew was just released. Its really well done, and reminds me a lot of the old Toy Army Workshop and Britains Premier vehicles:

Louis, did you see the person who was selling several Premier sets at Hackensack. He had some nice stuff.

Far from it, they are still going strong, but now based in Sweden.

In the description for this vehicle, on the website, this was very interesting ...

Modelled by Andrew Stadden, the masters for this mighty Minerva were created with a combination of traditional figure sculpting and 3D printed components, generated from a custom computer model. A blend of precision and artistry, it is a striking record of the war where the internal combustion engine came of age.

This is the link from Tradition where there is a comprehensive description of the history of the car https://www.traditionoflondonshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=15649

John,

Thank you for the link! It’s a very interesting account, although it is sad that Henkert and his command were killed.

Regards,

Louis

Brad,

Yes, I saw him. I bought a Toy Army Workshop truck and a Trophy WWI British Machine Gun set from him.

Shame I missed you, I had my son with me, and we would have liked to say hello.

Louis, I don’t think I got there until 1030 or so. Sorry to have missed you as well. I wound up purchasing a few sets from him too as did John Bennett.
